Hey y’all! My blog gets a lot of hits for aromatherapy though I don’t often blog about it. So, I have felt inspired to start sharing more about this part of my life. Every Friday you can come here to find essential oil suggestions, spotlights, DIY ideas, favorite recipes and more.
Today I want to talk to you about five favorite essential oils synergies for fall!
Fall can be a difficult season. School is back in session and children are great at sharing their coughs and colds.
These are the oils I like to always have on hand during this time. The kidsafe oils are safe for children 2+ and they are equally effective for adults. However, I will also share the equivalent of each synergy meant for those ages 10 and up.
1: Germ Destroyer KidSafe Essential Oil
Description: Germ Destroyer helps protect your children from seasonal threats that occur during the flu and cold season. Help everyone stay healthy or recover more quickly with this super synergy blend! Germ Destroyer is as effective as Germ Fighter (one of our most popular synergies) but is safer for young children. Each oil in this blend helps to support the immune system and respiratory health, including Rosalina and Spruce Hemlock for congestion; Lavender and Marjoram for relaxation, and Lemon for a burst of energy.
My Thoughts: Germ Destroyer is one of my personal favorites. I actually reach for it over the adult equivalent even for myself. This oil is best used at the first sign of illness.
*Adult Equivalent: Germ Fighter
Description:Immune Boom Synergy was created to help keep you on track by encouraging a healthy immune system. It is the perfect choice to help keep your child healthy. Immune Boom is as effective as Immune-Aid (one of our most popular synergies) but is safer for young children.
My Thoughts: This oil is best reached for when a child has been exposed to illness. The smell of dill is surprising to some but it is one of our personal favorites.
*Adult Equivalent: Immune Aid
3: Sniffle Stopper Essential Oil
Description: Sniffle Stopper helps keep your child’s head and respiratory tract clear. Sniffle Stopper is as effective as Respir-Aid (one of our most popular synergies) but is safer for young children.
My Thoughts: Probably my favorite out of all the ones suggested so far! This oils is wonderful for sinus pressure, coughs and congestion. I definitely wouldn’t be without this oil during fall and winter.
*Adult Equivalent: Respir-Aid
Description:To help soothe the occasional tummy trouble ,Tummy All Better is the perfect choice. Tummy All Better is as effective as Tummy-Aid (one of our synergies) but is safer for young children.
My Thoughts: From motion sickness to nausea due to migraine, this little oil is used frequently in our house to settle an rolling stomach. I actually use this in a synergy in a personal inhaler to settle my stomach in the car. I can’t travel without it!
*Adult Equivalent: Tummy-Aid
5: Sneezy Stop
Description: Sneezy Stop will help keep your child healthy during the times of seasonal threats. Let your child enjoy the day with a clear head and nose! Sneezy Stop is as effective as Clear Again (one of our most popular synergies) but is safer for young children.
My Thoughts: People are sometimes confused in the difference between Sniffle Stopper and Sneezy Stop. Sniffle Stopper is more for congestion and coughs while Sneezy Stop is for seasonal respiratory discomfort. If you’re anything like my family the itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose doesn’t end with spring! In addition to providing relief from seasonal threats, this oil smells fantastic! I’ve often worn it (diluted) as a perfume.
*Adult Equivalent: Clear Again
