This has been a ridiculously busy week! Five of my children played in a recital on Monday of this week. Feel free to take a listen to their Star Wars piece in the video below. I didn’t have time to upload the good video from my camera but I’ll try to do that soon! Cellphone video will have to suffice for now.
Did you all know that photography is a hobby of mine? I haven’t had time to edit everything from the recital yet either but I did capture this awesome picture of my six-year-old. Isn’t she cute? Oh, and a clover that was growing in a flower-pot. I couldn’t resist. I need to get other pictures edited but I’ve just not had the time!
Yesterday, my Kahlan (pictured above) also danced in a dance recital. I’ve not even popped my sd card into my laptop to even see how those came out but it was a good day! Busy but good!
Tomorrow will be the last recital of the season with my third oldest girl playing the piano. We’re ready for a small break from all the rehearsals! It’s a bit of insanity with three kids taking violin, one playing the harp and another playing piano.
Even with all the craziness, it was a fairly good week for reading. I didn’t get all of my goals done last week. I finished only two books instead of three. However, I’m nearly done with the third so I’m going to go ahead and plan another three books for this week.
Moving along…

Another new feature went live on the blog this week! You can now sort and search our reviews by clicking “search our library” under the book reviews tab. You can search by cover, series, rating or author. I thought you all may enjoy being able to search through our reviews! Keep in mind, when I started this blog, I was not yet using a book review plugin. I am updating all our old reviews to be ushered in under the “Ultimate Book Blogger” plugin but you may see missing titles or covers until all old posts are updated.
Keep in mind that I am an affiliate for the Ultimate Book Blogger program so any links referencing this plugin are affiliate links. If you’re interested in this program, stay tuned! I’ll be blogging soon about how I easily post all of my reviews using the UBB plugin! If you’re a serious book blogger, this is a must-have plugin!
