I have book guilt. Why well, I had the goal to read three books this week and I managed only two and a half. It was just a difficult week. I ended up having to drive out of town with my mom for a doctor’s visit. I had to pick strawberries to make shortcake. I threw a birthday party for my daughter…I dropped into bed so tired at night that I couldn’t do my usual reading. Plus, I had a massive pain flare up this week because of rain.
Am I the only weirdo that has reader’s guilt that comes from not reading as much as you think you should?

Announcements:
I’ve joined the world of bookstagram! I love photography and not completely sure why I’ve never considered this. I admit I’m not completely happy with the images I got of Counting with the Stars. I need to retake those! But, for now, I’ve put them up. Expect to see much more in the future! Let’s cross fingers that I get the new lens I want book covers; The Lensbaby Velvet 56. Feel free to check out the new bookstagram tab I’ve added in the menu. Be sure to follow us on Instagram as I’ll be uploading images there as well!
Goals for this Week:
I decided to add an extra book on my goals this week since I’m 30% into Wings of the Wind already! Crossing fingers to get all of this done! Also? I’m hoping to work on some products to relaunch my shop!

You are indeed not alone with the guilt part, i tend to do that all the time with my book reading.

I feel like I let myself down or maybe I let my books down :D
MommyMonster90 says
Feeling is mutual here as well. All those books staring at you whispering READ ME NOW lol

You almost met the 3 book goal, but you also had a really busy week — and you got a tremendous amount done given everything else going on. Totally get the feeling guilty part, but I’d be proud of what you did finish. And see how this week could possibly get you caught up! Then it all balances out. Happy Birthday to your daughter!

I was feeling book guilt too because of situations outside of my control along with pain flaring up but then this morning I thought how the past is the past and there’s no point beating myself up over it – until the next time :-D

I hope you’re feeling better! ❤️

I am better than I was, thank you. Hope you are feeling better also ☺

I’m still struggling. The rain sets me off and then lack of sleep makes my tinnitus flare too. I couldn’t sleep most of the night which makes pain ans tinnitus worse. It is a vicious cycle. I am ao over the ringing! It is even ringing this morning without fail ????
Hoping the weather improves soon so things turn around!
RamblingLisa says
Oh tinnitus is a nightmare, I feel your pain! Do you have medication for it or have you tried accupunture? Hopefully the weather passes soon and you get some relief *hugs*
I haven’t been able to walk for a week and 3 days of that my neck pain was worse than the back but thankfully today is more of a normal day.
We just have to live each day as they come when chronic health issues are concerned, don’t we?!
Kristin says
No medicine yet. I talked to the doctor about it and they said of it continued to come back. Tbh, I’ve not really has the money to pay for more testing. So, I’ve not yet went back yet. Terrible, I know!
So glad yours has eased! Neck pain is the worst! If you’re like me, anything with the neck increases headaches too!
Yes, we definitely have to just truck along and pray for the good days!
RamblingLisa says
Well if you don’t have the money it is understandable, just a shame that you haven’t been able to get tested.
Oh the headaches are a nightmare with it and if I have go to the bathroom I need to walk on tip toes as weight on my heals drives the pain up my neck and head gets worse! On any normal day I have to take 10 tablets just to get out of bed then more through the day and 10 more before bed but at least I am fortunate enough to be able to get out of bed most days, there are many far worse off than I am.
Kristin says
:( I’m so sorry! (Hugs) Lots of hugs and well wishes!
❤️
