I’ve never been so happy to wrap a week up as I am to wrap this one. It has been the week from you-know-where! Here’s the sitch.
My three-year old poked her sister in the eye—accidentally. We’re talking, took off some of the surface tissue of the eye—antibiotics, contact needed to cover the eye while it heals. The works. We’re going tomorrow to see how things are healing. We’re praying and hoping there’s no scar tissue as a result. We’ll be going back to the eye doctor tomorrow to see how it looks.
Then, I took my oldest daughter to the doctor this week. She’s had unexplained ear pain for six-eight months now. It’s gotten to the point where she can’t sleep on one side because of the pain. I am tired of it and pushed for answers. They did a hearing test. Her hearing is fine. They noticed that her jaw is grinding when she opens her mouth. We’re going to be referred to a TMJ specialist. We’re thinking that it’s been her jaw this entire time!
As if that wasn’t enough, my littlest girl got ahold of bubbles that she wasn’t supposed to open in the house. She left the bottle laying on the floor. The bottle was kicked over and she didn’t tell anyone. My fourteen year old walked through the house, stepped in the bubbles and fell. She hit her chin on the floor, bruised both knees and cut her finger on a coffee mug she dropped when she hit the floor.
Oh, I also forgot to mention that one of the girls broke their six month old Nintendo DS. Dropped a rock on it—again, an accident. And GameStop’s warranty won’t cover it. What’s the point of that? Wal-Mart’s coverage would have paid for it. GameStop won’t. You pay more money at GameStop and yet their warranty doesn’t cover much. Kind of pointless. I definitely won’t be purchasing any game systems from them anymore!
Anyway, I. AM. DONE. Not much reading done this week for all above reasons. I finished only two books and a novella.

Announcements:
I am aware of some issues going on with the WordPress App and our blog. The ability to read our posts went poof for several days. I think it has been resolved but let us know if you continue to have problems interacting with us via the app.
Goals for this Week:
I’m going to try to tackle four books this week as one is devotional that I want to quickly read over before giving it to my daughter to utilize. Another is a novella. I think I can do this.
