Okay, y’all…I’m pleased to say that it was a slightly more productive reading week. While I didn’t finish three books (again) I actually got close! So, here’s to hoping I can get 3-4 books in this week? Maybe? Who wants to volunteer to kick my butt and get me out of my slump?!
Quick real life update:
My genetics 5. Husband: 1. I now have five of my six children in glasses. Priya (8) and Arie (3) both got glasses this past week. They’re so cute and like a proud mummy, I’m always looking for excuses to share. Aren’t they cuties?!
I swear, I cloned these children. They have all of my less than stellar genetics and none of the hubby’s good genes. I have won these clone wars.
Anyhoo…let’s see what was accomplished on the blog this week!

My daughter has glasses to wear all the time and both me and my husband have them for driving. Your littles are adorable!!!

I had ilasik in 2007 (or maybe 2009) but I’m back in glasses. My vision is still much better than it was though.
5/6 kids in glasses with the 6th having astigmatism that they said she will likely need glasses for next year.
Hubby’s vision is 20/20.
Mine was 20/800 on surgery day lol.
I guess my vision and connective tissue problems override all of his good genes.

My daughter needed eye surgery when she was four. She had a lazy eye and all her muscles got fixed. She was 20/600 before she went in. Now she’s 20/60 in that eye! Still not perfect but no longer legally blind. Aren’t eyes fun?? Lol
Kristin says
It is a blessing to no longer be legally blind for sure!
