Ugh, I was doing so great with getting ahead on my reading and guess what? I read a dud and it took me all week to read it. Now I’m having to read a book for this upcoming WEEK. I hate it when I’m reading for the week that I’m reviewing something! UGH! Don’t you hate it when you pick up a dud and it ruins your well laid out plans?

Anyway, quick real-life update. I’m mama to a four year old! Yes, I have two children who have birthdays close together. Exactly one week between their big day. This year they decided to have a joint party and I had a lot of fun putting together a sea themed party for them. I definitely earned mermom status!

Oh! And, I went to a book signing this past week too! I got to meet Beverly Lewis (ever heard of The Shunning?) and she was such a sweetheart! I won her new coloring book and she signed it and my copy of her latest book. It was such fun time. I may have wanted to take her home with me. Creepy? Yeah, probably but she was adorbs.

Anyway, it was a pretty good week, though busy! I’m ready for this new week and hopefully I’m over my reading slump.
