Another week is down and my arm is kind of healing. The bruising has improved but I’m still having some mobility issues. There’s not too much to report about life this week. Snow and ice shut North Carolina down for most of the past week. The good thing is that I got to rest. The bad thing is that next week I have to worry about making up all the appointments we missed.
If you pray, please say prayers for us this week as we have some doctor appointments and pre-surgery appointments coming up. I’ll update more on all of this when I know more. Just keep us in your thoughts.
As far as reading this past week, I finished three and a half books. I set the goal at four but it’s only 8 pm on a Saturday night…so, I may still yet finish!

Ty! The surgery is for my daughter (first knee surgery…yikes!) the arm is from me putting my arm into the dryer (if you didnt see that update!)
Shanah - Bionic Book Worm says
No I didn’t see the update. I’m always hurting myself in the weirdest of ways too!
Best of luck for your daughter! It’s so hard when they have to have surgery. You know they will be fine but it doesn’t stop the worry! My daughter had surgery when she was 4. Nothing major but still hard to put them in someone else’s (skilled) hands. Thinking of you!
Kristin says
Thanks! I think Id posted it a week or so ago. I opened the dryer and put my arm in and didn’t realize that the switch is broken and my dryer no longer cuts off when the door is opened!
The surgery will be my sixteen year old’s second sugery but her first knee surgery. Also it is the first surgery since diagnosed with POTs and orthostatic hypotension. So, an outpatient thing may turn out to be an inpatient thing. I will keep everyone updated and appreciate the well wishes!
